Terri Williams As a founding member of Tulsa Chapter, SST it has been my pleasure and privilege to see our group evolve and grow. Each of us brings a unique perspective to the group and our discussions are always lively. Being a 3rd year sociology major at Langston University, a full time employee for the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission and a single mother of two teenage boys – DeShey 19 (who is currently serving in the U.S. Navy), and Drake 15- keeps me very busy, but my sistahs never fail to encourage and support me. I like to keep as active as I can in the community, by serving as the current community service coordinator for our Tulsa chapter and as Vice President of Women in Transition, a Tulsa group committed to helping women in need, transition into independence. My hobbies include but are not limited to cooking, dancing (it keeps me young at heart!) and Jazz music – every aspect of it. Reading of course, is a passion of mine. I love all genres and my favorite authors are too numerous to name. I enjoy reading any material that will give insight into things unknown to me – relationship, history, theology etc. Words I live by: I am who God says I am, I can do what God says I can do, I can have what God says I can have!!! Welcome to Tulsa!
