June Marie Brown Being involved with a group of African American women that love their families, love their community and love to read makes for a strong band of women. That’s what I have found with Sisters Sippin Tea. I have served as a Commissioner for two years with the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women. This year I served as the Chairperson for the 2005 Pinnacle Awards. As a new member at Friendship Church I am looking forward to getting to know as many people as possible and be involved! I have been married to my best friend, Alvin, for 30 years. Our company, The Olive Oil Group – www.oliveoilgroup.com, has produced two CD’s, Scriptures for Your Healing and Scriptures for Your Protection and one book as a compiler, God’s Little Instruction Book for African Americans. We have two children, our daughter teaches Spanish in the Plano School District and our son is a Fine Arts major at The University of Tulsa. Enjoy Your Stay in Tulsa
