Deborah Boykins

An original member of SST – Tulsa Chapter, the thing I enjoy most is the fellowship with my Sista’s. I enjoy fiction, romance some mysteries and biographies. Married for the past 17 years to Jevarlo Boykins we have three boys, Demetrius age 15, Jullian age 10 and Jay Donovan age 7. They keep me very busy. Employed with Tulsa Public Schools as a Counselor I enjoy my job working with elementary school students. I am currently going to school completing certification as a School Psychologist taking classes at Northeastern State University.

I am scheduled to complete the program this May. I enjoy reading, walking, music and spending quality time with family and friends. Love to travel and experience life. Turning 40 has been a pivotal age for reflection, wisdom and selfacceptance. I enjoy it because, “I’m old enough to know better”, but still young enough to “try it anyway”. I collect angels and bears. I consider myself “a work in progress”. Each day is a new experience, giving us the opportunity to start again and improve on the past.
